👋 Welcome to My Digital Space
Hello and welcome! I’m Phani Puttabakula, and this is my little corner of the internet—a place where I share thoughts, experiences, and reflections from my journey in technology and life.
Who Am I, Really?
🙏 I’m a father, husband, son, brother, friend… and above all, just a fellow human being trying to do meaningful things. It’s easy to get caught up in titles and professional achievements, but at the end of the day, we’re all just people navigating this beautiful, complex world together.
🌱 I grew up in a small town in India, and like many, I chased a dream that brought me to the United States. I now live in the Los Angeles area, where life is busy, beautiful, and always teaching me something new.
My Journey in Technology
💻 I work in tech and love building things—whether it’s software, businesses, or ideas that (hopefully) make a difference. I’m an entrepreneur at heart, but also someone who values simplicity, purpose, and staying grounded.
My career has taken me through various facets of technology:
- From writing my first lines of code to architecting complex systems
- From individual contributor to leading engineering teams
- From employee to entrepreneur, always learning and growing
- From focusing purely on technical problems to understanding the human side of technology
What Drives Me
What truly excites me about technology isn’t just the elegant algorithms or scalable architectures (though I love those too). It’s the potential to solve real problems and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Every line of code, every system design, every business decision—I try to ask myself: “Does this actually matter? Will this help someone?”
Beyond the Code
🎯 Outside of work, I try to stay curious. I enjoy playing sports now and then, and I find myself drawn to philosophy—the kind that doesn’t always have answers but gets you thinking anyway.
🎶 I love listening to Indian classical music—especially the Hindustani genre. It keeps me connected to my roots and calms my mind. There’s something about those ragas that helps me think clearly and stay centered.

My Philosophy on Technology and Life
I believe that the best technology solutions come from understanding people—not just users, but humans with real needs, emotions, and aspirations. Technical excellence is important, but it’s meaningless if it doesn’t serve a genuine purpose.
I’ve learned that success isn’t just about the next promotion or the next startup exit. It’s about:
- Building things that matter
- Maintaining relationships that ground you
- Staying curious and humble
- Contributing to something bigger than yourself
An Invitation to Connect
